Inspection of buildings and structures is a set of actions aimed at evaluating technical condition of structural units and utility facilities needed for deciding if it is necessary to carry out any repairs, refurbishments or demolitions.
The inspection should be done if:
• You are going to buy a building and need to evaluate its technical condition.
•You are going to have major repairs or refurbishment and need information about its engineering and technical condition to develop a project.
• You need to decide on selling or conversing the building depending on its technical condition.
• Condition of the leased building or premises is unsatisfactory, evaluation of damages is required.
• You found design distortions reducing overall strength properties.
• Building was affected by fire, utility facilities failure or natural calamities and you need to evaluate its damage and technical condition.
• Building structural defects were detected while in service and evaluation of their causes, extents and consequences is required.
• You plan to resume the previously suspended construction process and wants to estimate its technical condition.
We have a profound experience in inspecting various buildings and structures, including those dangerous and unsafe. We use numerous piecesof equipment enabling to carry out inspections with the following nondestructive methods:
• ultrasound
• radiation
• electromagnetic, including georadiolocation
etc.
For a detailed projecting of various building structures' working capacity we use computer modeling.
If it is necessary to carry out handout and operational tests of power supply systems, we use our own electrical measuring laboratory registered in the Moscow Interregional Territorial Administration of Technological and Ecological Supervision of the Rostekhnadzor/Russian Federal Service for Ecological, Technical and Atomic Supervision (registration number: 3401).
Subsequent to the inspection the Customer is provided with a technical opinion, including:
• description of the revealed defects and failures related to the project
• explanatory photographic materials
• references to construction standards requirements
• cost estimates
• recommendations and decisions
In cases when after inspection our Customer needs to seize the court, we will implement legal and pretrial expertise.
